Meet the Artists, The Steadfast Allstars

Together We Hold Each Other Up aims to build community by building two beautiful benches. The artist team will hold multiple tile painting workshops on the theme of “Together We Hold Each Other Up” between January and May 2015, at Cafe Southside on Chicago Avenue. The project will create a mosaic composed of participants’ tile designs. These tiles will have a permanent home decorating the benches in the Paradise Community Garden next door to Cafe SouthSide. Anyone and everyone is invited to come have fun and make a tile that reflects their lives, dreams and experience. The artist team hopes that through these workshops, participants will kindle a love of art, engage conversations and build friendships.
