Natasha Pestich is a local Minneapolis artist, educator and community artist. She has been the recipient of a leadership fellowship through the Creative Community Leadership Institute, and a McKnight Foundation Fellowship for visual arts. Highlights of her community art work includes most notably the inter-disciplinary project/performance North & Beyond, in Philadelphia, Sidewalks Saving Lives in Minneapolis, and her partnership with the Pillsbury House & Theater where she lead a design process to engage community members with Minneapolis College of Art and Design students and faculty to redesign the Pillsbury House lobby, reflecting its new focus as a “Cultural Community Hub.”
We are dedicated to making this city a more peaceful, beautiful and interactive place for the most impressionable among us, our youth. By engaging the community through screen printing workshops and encouraging storytelling, we facilitate a space where empowerment, education and sharing can flourish.
