Art Blocks

ART BLOCKS  led by Pillsbury House + Theatre is an opportunity to reach deeper into our community, get connected with our neighbors on a personal level through exciting artistic activities, and in the end strengthen the relationships that make this area around Chicago Avenue a more vibrant place for everyone to live.

ART BLOCKS will convene, train and support 20 community based artists/artist teams to organize their immediate neighbors, engaging them first in art on the blocks where they live, and then in events and performances occurring in the four neighborhoods surrounding the Pillsbury House and Theatre.
